Everyone loves a really good bun. Christopher’s new recipes will teach you how to make an all-purpose bun dough and change it up with different seasonings and fillings, from simple to spectacular.

Menu

1. Foundation Soft Bun Dough

A versatile tangzhong-based dough equally well suited to sweet and savoury stuffings, this is straightforward and simple to mix up, and can also be baked as plain buns.

2. Kurimupan (Japanese Custard Buns)

These panaderia classics are filled with a thick, creamy egg custard – a wonderful teatime or after-school treat.

3. Beef & Basil Red Curry Crescents

Fancy-looking but very easy to make, these feature a fragrant Thai minced beef red curry and plenty of fresh basil leaves, wrapped in a golden turmeric variation of the soft bun dough.

4. Pandan Pistachio Crumble Buns

Feathery-crumbed pandan bun dough infused with fresh pandan juice, spiralled around home-made pistachio marzipan, topped with buttery pistachio crumble, and baked into tall and truly luscious sticky buns.

Take Home Items

Onsite participants will bring home a set of food samples. ZOOM participants WITH food samples can opt for self-collection or delivery at no extra cost.
